PROJECT EXPERIENCE: - Lotus Notes developer
Jul ’05 – till date (Client: IBM / AT&T Labs) Senior Lotus Notes Developer / Consultant, Direct Registration Facility
Project Overview: The Direct Registration Facility (DRF) is a Lotus Notes client and web based application for customer self administration of network access ids and for other related AT&T IP service options. DRF is one of AT&T web accessible “zero touch” applications that allow customers to interface electronically for all their Managed Services Offerings after the sale and initial setup.
Technical Overview: DRF is a truly global application that is highly integrated with back-end databases in AT&T. It is a true Lotus Notes and J2EE application running on Domino and WebSphere Application Server. DRF is a convenient way to register ids for AT&T customers. Expansion of the DRF tool to general user availability will allow AT&T to globally meet projected volume demands for account-qualified IDs in real time mode (estimated to be 600k/month). To accomplish this goal, an interactive lotus notes and domino web panel interface has been made available for input by customers and fulfillment organizations. The database also supports XML file interface to receive ftp files from customers and channel partners. These interfaces exchange data in real time with Service Delivery and Network Operations (Authentication, Service Configuration and Internet Service) via a Server Processing Component.
